Madhabkunda Watter Fall of Bangladesh - Sylet Division

Bangladesh natural beauty has many feature. Madhabkunda waterfall is one of the most attractive tourist spots in Sylet Division. And the main water fall of Bangladesh is the water fall of Madhabkunda. The height of the water fall here in Madhabkunda. It’s the highest waterfall among all the other waterfalls of Bangladesh. Lots of tourists and picnic parties come to Madhabkunda every day for their enjoyment. You can go to Madhabkunda either from Sylet if you go by road or from Kulaura if you go by train.

From Kulaura rail station its about one hour journey by microbus to Madhabkunda. The journey to Madhabkunda itself is exotic. On the way you can see the greenish beauty of tea garden, the hills and the zigzag road through the hills will increase the joy of your journey. In Madhabkunda you will see the great waterfall – falls of million tons of water form 200ft. height. Big bolder of stones and the black stones in giving a shape of care in Madhabkundu. There is a Parjatan Motel with a good restaurant for accommodation and flooding. 

During rainy season the waterfall looks stronger as a huge amount of water rolls down during this season. The fall of water seems like a bolt descending to the bottom of the waterfall. If it is raining, then you will find multiple water sprays coming from the top of the falls. But during rainy season, visitors are not allowed to stand at the bottom of the falls as the force of the water may kill you. Sometimes stones may roll down with the water. It is dangerous to be under the falls in this season. So it is better if you refrain from standing under the spray of the falls.

The nature is so beautiful and pleasant here that Madhabkunda is one of the best natural resorts of Bangladesh for relaxation of one’s mind and physic. So every one who wants to travel in Bangladesh must visit Madhabkunda; without visiting here Bangladesh travel will not be fulfilled.
